Banned Double banned Tripple banned Quadruple banned

Hi i was wondering if anyone out there has had a problem with there banned 360 not playing original xbox games. This is a store bought StarWars Battle Front 2 Halo Halo2 StarWars Episode 3, and so on Seems not only did we get banned from live We can no longer play the original games any longer even store bought what's up with that?. Just wondering if anyone out there noticed at all.

orig games play fine in a banned console

there has to be something wrong with your console

Thanks for the quick response. I know they worked fine before the ban,now my boy goes to put in and play it and says disk encountered an error contact microsoft and so on. I can't get them to play backup xbox 360 games work fine original xbox 360 games work fine.

Changing the res to 480p solved the problem right away. Microsoft is so lame. It boggles the mind that the system can't figure it out on its own and do the change - but it doesn't in this case. Down side is you will have to change it back when you are playing the 360 games.

This worked for me even though it is still hooked up via the high def cables and TV.

I just googled it and all I could find was stuff about people burning xbox 1 games to play on the 360 incorrectly.

Cofree is correct thanks all of you for helping out it seems that the hard drive it's self went bad I had a spare 20 gb and it all plays fine now thanks

Are you trying to play a game that you have previously installed on the HDD? Thats likely the problem...

No it was not installed on the hdd just tried to play it and wouldn't but it turns out the hdd went bad
