please help me reset this thing

Post by jhollon »

i have looked all the net and can't find the correct key combo to reset my arcade edition back to 'pull it out the box' factory condition. The dash version is 2.0.7371.0. Please let me know if anyone out there knows.

thanks,

Jeff

What? I dont understand your question here?

There is no way to fully restore your 360. You can do a factory restore, but that just restores any settings you may have changed to default.

Why do you want to restore, what happened?

it is a christmas gift for my nephew and i played on it some before since mine was out of commission. I just want to basically, force it to go through the initial setup on first boot like it was fresh out the box. and make you setup a profile and basically the whole nine yards. just want to keep up the illusion

As far as i know the only way to do that is do the intial startup thru the system menu, but then you would have to do that manualy

I do this for the fun and pleasure in helping people. But this is NOT my job. Post up on the boards with your question and some body will help you dont use the PM system.

If its a big deal, you could probably just return it to the store, and get your money back (or gift card) then buy a new one the next day.
