Unable to determine the current visible partition

I'm having a problemm trying to rip a game and get the above error. Im trying to rip Tiger Woods 2006 with a xbox Toshiba Samgsung connected with a connectivity kit and a VIA 6421 sata card.

I loaded up xbox backup creator 2.9 Build 0306 and this is the generated log below...
Does anyknow know what this error means?

im not sure how/if you can get that firmware in 0800 mode
that has to be what the problem is.

i just flashed in the 0800 in a xtra dvd drive (samsung0 and leave it hooked up to the pc
and it dumps great

Is there a way to know if I put on the 0800 firmware correctly?
It says iXTREME1.6-12x-FINAL-TS-H943A under the description, is that the 0800 or the 1.6 firmware?

I've watched a few youtube videos about how to use XBC and I can't see where I am going wrong.

What is the MODE button on the connectivity kit for? I've tried it with the red light on and with the blue light on and get the same result.

no man the mode is for setting a hit in modeb dont mess with that

it looks like it just the ix1.6 firmware

like i said ive not used the 0800 mode that is in that firmware

all i did was just reflash the drive with JUST the 0800 firmware and dump games.

So which light should be on? Red or Blue?

I'll have another go at installing the 0800 and see how I go with that. I followed commando_lee's suggestion and did SAM 1234567 12345 W and flashed as usual.

yea but did you do that with the 0800 firmware or the ixv1.61 firmware

i had to start the dump pc
mine says the same thing about the ix1.6 firmware

up top on the drop down arrow(on the right) did you select you v28 drive from the list

I could have sworn I installed the 0800 firmware but I could be wrong. Will try again tonite.

Yeah, I selected the correct drive and also tried changing the options. On the right is "Drive Specific", I selected my drive but it doesnt make any difference.

It does say "This is not a true 1 to 1 copy of the image. See 'Read Me' for more details", on the "Read" page. I tried looking thru the readme but couldnt see anything that could be relevant.

i think you dont have it in the 0800 mode
or you dont have the 0800 firmware flashed in
that about all it could be

Yeah, I probably didn't copy the firmware onto the USB drive correctly and it flashed it with the firmware that was already on there.
