cant seem to get a v78 into b mode...

so i've done several lg flashes now and keep bringin this 1 out to try every few months. its an lg v78 and it wont go into b-mode for some reason..
tryed jungle flasher, tryed slax.. even tryed the try half open like the other drives..
it just wont recognize it.
im using a via-raid card and connectivity kit.

at this point im open to ANY suggestion.. this damn thing is gettin the better of me!

Have you tried a different sata cable, i know it sounds odd but i have to use 1 particular cable for all non Hitachi drives and another for Hitachi drives, i dont know why but its the only way i can get them to be detected.

I can't get my VIA card to work with any hitachis. Try using onboard sata for hitachi. I just did a 78 the other day no problems. The only thing I do is eject the dvd tray a few times at the Windows loading screen.
