in imgburn i set my drive to write at 2.4x speed but, when its time to write i get a speed miscompare message and it starts to write at 4x speed.
ive always burned at 2.4x speed without probs. this is the first time im burning on another pc and it wont burn on 2.4 speed.
would you guys say its safe to burn at 4x speed ? what speeds do you guys burn at ?
im using verbatim 8x speed dual layer disc
my drive is a hl-dt-st dvdrrw gsa-h20l
imgburn burning speed issues
Re: imgburn burning speed issues
Most likely is either to drive or the discs do not support that speed, or both. ImgBurn reports the write speeds of the discs, but I don't know if it can display the drive's write speeds. Maybe there's a firmware update for your burner that addresses this? I've burned a number of discs at 4x and haven't had a problem with them.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake,
you just keep on trying 'till you run out of cake.
