Connectivity Kit. Help

Post by cainhunpi »

Hey guys, I was teaching a friend how to flash a xbox with a connectivity kit. and his computer does not have any molex connector ( the 4 pin one) is there a way for him to plug it to the wall plug or use something else to power the connectivity kit?

@edit

is it sata, cause there are adapters for changing a sata to molex
or try using an old external optical drive bay, one that uses a molex to power a ide hdd
not sure if the voltage would be correct but worth a try
without the vga how will u communicate with the port???

I got one of these to power my connectivity kit. :)
It looks like a laptop power supply with a molex plug on the end. You also get an adapter to power SATA drives which come in handy.
