flashing inside windows 7

Post by turbomcp »

Hi have afew questions
i downloaded the latest jungleflasher and removed my via driversnand enable driver unsign
clicked jungle as admin
and it says portio succeeded in log
everything looks good
except i see xecuter ck3 pro -usb with yellow exclamation point in device manager and on jungle on the dvdkey32 tab
i only see com1 and not usb to com3 as before(in xp)
now i dont need to read anything i just need to erase and flash using non stealth 1.6 for liteon
is this normal?
can i just go ahead with clicking erase and then write?

You cannot flash on Windows 7 64 bit with jungle, you'll need to get a 32 bit OS (xp is best) or use iPrep.

i think u can flash using windows 7 64bit
check here:
http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showpost ... ostcount=2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
but in any case i tried using iprep(like i did before) but keep getting those 0x52 the d50 status
it wont run the mtk command for some reason thats why i thought myabe inside windows 7 it will erae and write it
anyway i think ill just go with safe way and install brand new xp with my via card and latest jungleflasher.

Sorry
Liteon 7xxxx
dont know why i get those 0x52 and 0xd2 in dosflash
i mean i used the same iprep usb i used on my initial flashing with same via card and same pc
thats why i thought of doing it in windows 7 64bit
but now i decided maybe safest way is just goto clean xp remove via(so no freezes) and just use that to do the erase and write hoping this would work.
im basicly afraid to screw up the drive:) because my son will kill me:)

if that drive has never been flash you are going to have to use a probe or solder the r707 point for it to dump
you do know that right
here is a guide on flashing the 7000
with a older iprep

If you get 0x52 after erase, press Lite-On erase hole time until you get 0x72. First intro device sen load the dummy and ixtreme. Sen erase until you get 0x72. then write.
Flashed Hitachi: 40 +, sammy 50+ BenQ around 80 + and LiteOn 100+
