hi i follow these to the tea
but i think somethimg wrong with soldering to male s port connection
can someone give me a correct diagram

on serial port i have from the back view the x is where i connected
ooxooooooooxx
oooooooxxxox

and still getting error
don't understand why 3 diodes
do i need one one pin 11

Well which board do you have? Also make sure that you're not shorting out on the bottom side of the board. If your pins are touching the metal of the case then you'll have issues like this. All boards get three diodes. 1 goes to the LPT port, two others go from points on the board to other points on the board. I usually just put a dab of solder on the point I need and solder my pins to the top of the board. No reason to really go all the way through the board.
