Valve has reportedly confirmed plans to release Portal 2 for PC, Xbox 360 and Mac “this holiday season”.
The sequel to first person puzzler Portal - which received numerous awards following its 2007 release - is set "hundreds of years" after the original and will introduce a new co-op mode, according to Game Informer magazine (via CVG).
“Portal 2 introduces a cast of dynamic new characters, a host of fresh puzzle elements, and a much larger set of devious test chambers,” reads a GameStop product page.
“Players will explore never-before-seen areas of the Aperture Science Labs and be reunited with GLaDOS, the occasionally murderous computer companion who guided them through the original game.”
