JFLASHER not detecting drive

iam going crazy here i have windows xp and win7 i have tried both os and cant get jflasher to detect my liteon 748 when i had my old pc it wored fine now ith this new pc i cant get it to work jflasher will detect all my other sata drives like my kreon and all my hd but not the liteon any help in the right direction would be great or a setup for xp or win7 at this point i will set it up on any os if it helps the drive has already been flashed im just trying to up date it any help would be great.........Int03h

Are you using a via card or a sata cable directly into the mobo. Your other computer may have had a compatible motherboard but this new one does not, so you will need a via card.

Well 9 times out of 10 if your plugging into your mobo, and jf cant find your drive you'll need a via card.

I'd invest in the via card, it should work, if not then your out 10 bucks unless you want to set up a couple hdd's in raid.

i had issues with 1.71 and had to go back to 1.69 until the 1.73. now all is good.
