lite on drive question regarding Xecuter LT Clip and LT Swit

Hi I was going to get a new xbox as my old one with a benq died and was looking into the flashing of the lite on drive.I was first looking into getting the prode,but then I found the Xecuter LT Clip and LT Switch v2 *NO SOLDER*.but I have read that you need to take the lazer ribbon off to stop the tray open problem when you flash the drive.If this is the case would I be better getting the probe. still reading up on what to do to get my head around it,but I wanted to order one of the two so it gets hear next week as I've been without an xbox for 2 weeks!Thanks_ J

go for the probe, plus you can use it again. i use jungle flasher and ck3 conectivity kit and a v2 probe works a treat every time,no doubt one of the moderators will back me up with this one.And good luck.

no xbox for two weeks i bet you are pulling your hair out now
