i had this problem but i was flashing back to stock i could not get the key out and couldn't fine the original at first but found it later so then i flashed it back to stock with the original key an F/W so then out of curiosity i tried to get the key again an it come out first try

Well this is definitely a v2 drive.

All you need to do is cut 2 traces, and either probe, or solder in the lt switch, then you can read the drive, then either repair the traces, or bridge them with the probe, and flash the drive like a 7 series.
