Xbox 360 hitachi spoofing

Hello guys, my drive stopped working so I am going to replace it.
The old drive is a Hitachi ROM VER: 0047DH and the replacement is Hitachi ROM VER:0079FL
So if I got it right I need to spoof the key from my old drive to the new one but I have no idea how to do it.
I have been looking around a bit and noticed that if I want to obtain the key from my old drive it has to be able to read.
Well the problem is, it will never read discs again, when it's turned on the laser starts shining instantly without stopping, it doesnt even try to read/spin so I guess the hope for that is out.

I have heard that you can extract it from the motherboard, but how?

You'll need to dump your hitachi 47.

So hook it up to your comp via sata, and a ck3, load up jungle flasher, and find your port. Then dump the drive.

The pain is the actual spoofing. I'll get into that once youve dumped your original drive.

Does the DVD drive need to be able to read a disc to do that?
Also, do you have a tutorial, since I am pretty new to this.

you need to go to home page then click on tutorials then 360 tutorials and then video tutorials then drive flashing tuts have a look at these videos and you will have a much better understanding of what you need to do

Drive does not need to read disks to be dumped.

As Gazzer said, check the tutorials section, you can watch any video on hitachi flashing, and in the beginning of the video it will show you how to dump the drive.

I'm leaving for holidays early in the morning, so I probably wont be able to reply to your question, but any of the other members should be able to explain how to dump, and how to spoof.
