Odd transfer problem

Hi Guys, I need some help.

I have a 360 that has recently RRODd that I had all of my content,prof,etc. on a USB drive. I have another 360 that is banned that uses a 20gb hard drive that works. The working 360 has an issue with the usb ports and will not recognise that USB drive when I plug it in.

I want to transfer my profiles, saves, content, etc. from the USB to the Hard Drive. I have a transfer cable for the HD but I cannot get content added to the drive, it will only let me read it. I've been at this for weeks and i'm about to give up.

Any suggestions?

I believe that you need the latest 360 system update

You can get it from the xbox.com website for free

Just burn to a disk and you we be able to update

After the update you will be able to transfer your stuff using the usb device
