PS3 Slim game issue

I just got a PS3 slim for 150 and the only problem with it right now is that the system sometimes reads games and sometimes it doesnt. It reads Blue ray movies and other media this only happens on games.

I dont know if this is a laser issue or if maybe it is a dvd drive issue.

If anyone has any info on this please fill me in.

i would think its a laser
games are harder to read than a movie
most of the time
but
that does sound like a great thing with the ps3 jailbreak that is out

Yeah I couldnt tell you. Last night when i tried to play a blue ray movie it didnt work. The drive took the CD in and all of the sudden it made a sound like if it was ejecting the disc, but it didnt and the PS3 never read the movie.

I know it has been opened before, but not sure for what.
