and i dont think there will be
the reason is it has to be a usb hub then it looks like it has 5 usb flash plugged in it.
it polls one usb flash then it poles a different usb flash
till it gets the stuff it needs from all 5
at least that is what i understand of it.

im sure that is why they are porting all the different things to it

this usb stick as seen on the main page just gets plugged in tickle a few buttons wham softmod - or so I think so ... could be wrong .... any way when is it in a shop no good looking at pic's lets get playing the ps3 to death lol

Its not a simple usb flash drive its basically a mod chip connected via usb.

Sony has patched the exploit, so if you update your ps3 past 3.41, you will not be able to use this exploit.

It will not hit a store near you since sony has filed a suit against the company that made these, and as far as I know the ps3 mod chip isnt available online anywhere.

Luckily, the right people got their hands on the jailbreak before sony shut them down, so the chip was dumped, and the softmod is being ported to other devices. (Look at the list above)

You can buy certain usb boards, and flash the soft mod to it, or use one of the ported versions listed above on your cell phone or psp for example.

well i used my daughters ti-84plus to do jailbreak my ps3 it actually works i was shocked on how easy it was

Does the backup manager work? A couple people had issues with the TI-84 Plus and the backup manager.

List not complete, as stated in this thread the TI-84 plus is working. Anything else not listed yet? (Waiting for a ti-84 to show up on craigslist for cheap, or for a psp port)....

Hey guys just wanted to say that the backup manager is supposedly functional now with the iPhone psgroove. My girlfriend took her 2g to work with her so I can't test it till morning..I'll let you guys know if it works.

i used Google G1/htc dream with psfreedom exploit and all is good.i too was suprised how easy it is...homebrew is moving quickly,have ftp server for transfer between pc and ps3 and now have comgenies awesome file manager,which easily transfers from external to internal and vice versa
