ps3 laser

just come across a problem going to change a ps3 laser and noticed the old one as 1 eye the new one i have as 2 eyes does this matter can i still put the new one in this drive or do i have to get one the same as the old one what is the difference

sorted now just got the old one out and compared it with mine its a no go different completely

there are a few different ones for the ps3 from what i understand

i have only come acroos two diferent drives and two lasers kes400 and kes410 what i cant understand why is there two types

yours is a KES400A,as is mine with single laser.other (410) does indeed have 2 lasers.unfotunately you have to replace with like for like as far as i am aware.
