help!! xbox 360 lite-on dvd 74850c

hi guys im new here i just want to ask if theres any hope for my xbox 360 lite-on dvd drive bcoz i flash it without backing up my dvd key all of the bin file stuff plz i need your help and 1 thing i dont have any kind of kit like ck3 pro or probe bcoz i live in japan cuz i dont know where to buy it here i flash my drive using via pci card for connection and xbox it self to power the dvd that it thnks and i really need your help......

well man if it is working
then you would just dump the drive again to get a copy of the key to keep for safe keeping
if you flashed the drive with out the good key in it.
then you have a problem
if you dont have a copy of the key and the console is up to date on the kernel its running
then you are out of luck
it will only be usable as a dvd player

hi cofree thnks for the replay heres the situation i got the dvd drive back to life i mean i reflash the firmware but it cant play any game and when i look it into JF its nothing on dvd key if theres a chance that i can recovered the dvdkey if i will dump again? thnks a lot

sounds like you dont have a key in your firmware man
try to play a dvd movie
if it will play and a original 360 game will not play that is what it is

the only thing you can do is have a copy of your orig dump or the dummy bin
it will have your key in it

if you dont have you key or dummy.bin
then its game over

thnks cofree 4 responding to my question i feel sorry 4 my son i did wrong to his xbox 360 now im really dont know what to do bcoz i bought that xbox 360 in about two weeks ago bcoz my son's grade its getting better and better that why i buy this xbox its kind a present...well thnks again cofree

you could try to return it
im not saying lie

if they have a good return policy
the truth is its not playing games

i can't return it into shop cuz its not a brand new thats y im deeply wana find the best solution to make it work again... can i ask something? if im gona buy ck3 pro and probe connectivity kit its mean i can retrieved the dvdkey? thnks

have you flashed the dvd drive at this point

i looked over the thread if you did not have a probe how did you even get a dump of the dvd drive to start with
if you have flash the drive with out a good key
and you dont have a backup of the file you would have got when you read the dvd drive with a probe
then man
its game over for that drive
its a dvd player no games

It almost sounds like he just tried to flash with CFW with out even pulling the key, and putting it into the CFW.

I use pc sata port to connect to dvd and xbox 360 its self to power up the liteon dvd I ddnt use any connectivity kit like ck3 pro or probe cuz I dnt have any of those Sorry for my bad english thanks again Its mean even if I'm gona buy any of connectivity kit i'll never retrieved the dvdkey? PS:if I'm gona buy new dvd drive insted kit it's gona be work in that setting?

if you have lost the key
there is no way to fix it
buying a new dvd drive will not work because you dont hae the console dvd drive key to flash in the new drive

it can't play org game when i insert the org game its say play dvd... sad to hear that i dont have any option but i saw some forum that i can retrieved the dvd key i just need to dump a nand.bin also i need to flash xbr to nand and access to xell its that true and what should i do? thnks cofree...

if you have the latest kernel in your console
you cant as far as i know

even if you could there comes a point that its just not worth the work/time needed to do it and the parts
your better to just buy a new console

there is no modding it right now
it is in the works

if you can find a old (new) console
