Re: benq flashing
hi thats everyone again just flashed my friends premium with ix1.4 for hitachi lg. it was kind of straight forward took 20 sec to flash it. amazing. i j ust used onboard sata connector not even a via card and it worked great.
Re: benq flashing
Yeah, you can flash a hitachi with just about any sata controller. Well, except for the v79, unless you have a passkey installed.

Re: benq flashing
hi do i flash this the same way as the 0059 dj drive
Re: benq flashing
Yes, you can flash all the hitachi's in the same basic manner. The 79 requires a passkey to be soldered in though.

Re: benq flashing
why isnt the xbins working? and by the way do i use the same ixt1.4 firmware for all old hit drives.
Re: benq flashing
there is a new xbins auto connect program out. the old one doesn't work anymore. Google for Auto-xbins 2008 and you'll find it, if cofree hasn't added it to the download section already.
any yes, you can use ixtreme 1.4 for hitachi's with the 47.
edit: just checked the downloads section and its in there.

hi, quick one is flashing samsung ms 25 and 28 same as of benq flashing but except for the 10 sec trick. plus is via vt6421a compatible with sammy drivers.
Re: benq flashing hit 0059dj flashing and sammy ms28
it's not exactly the same as a benq // but not far off eitherparminder wrote:hi, quick one is flashing samsung ms 25 and 28 same as of benq flashing but except for the 10 sec trick. plus is via vt6421a compatible with sammy drivers.

Use iprep & just make sure u follow the onscreen instructions / "simple tings"...
As for the card : the via 6421 will flash sammys just as well as benqs

Re: benq flashing hit 0059dj flashing and sammy ms28
thanks for quick reply. but my question wasnt clear. is the flashing using iprep same for samsung ms25 and ms28
Re: benq flashing hit 0059dj flashing and sammy ms28
the sam drive are the pickiest of the 360 dvd drives.
you have to have a via6421A or L chiopset
they flash pretty much the same.
the power on/off is different and the timing is different.
but both are no problem with the right equipment

here man have a look
http://www.robinhoodsplayground.com/for ... =110&t=401
when the drive is on and off is different and the amount of time is different.
the first time you dump and flash a v25 you may find you dont have to do the ten sec trick.it may let you in the drive right away.
after it has been flash once you will have to do the 10 sec trick to get back in.
