updating firmware to lt+ v 7400

hey guys, hope this doesnt annoy anyone but i just need clarification. i just read another post for a liteon 7400 posted by one of the experts that helps us less knowledgeble, and hes bassically encontered the same issue as me. i cant get my dvd key, my drive shows up in j/flasher but when i hit dvdkey32 sais bad serial data. from what i read i guess i dont need a probe? do i still need to do the mra hack? or do i just press into/device id and power cycle drive? sorry if this is moronic but thats what i understood from that previous post

If you didn't save your dump from before and you have flashed it with LT the only way to get the key is to do the MRA hack follow Cofree's VID
