Xplorer360

Post by JaWzZz »

trying to get Xplorer360 working but it wont read my drive

I took my WD 160 GIG External drive. Formatted it with xbox360 (i know 16 Gig limit...thats fine)
But when i hook it to my computer and using Xplorer360 i go to Drive -> Open -> Hard drive or memcart...

I get error message "Could not find a FATX drive to open"

I dont get it, because the HDD is formatted with xbox360 so wouldn't that be FATX ?

Would it work with a Flashdrive/Jumpdrive?

If its a usb hard drive all you need to do is go into my computer open the drive, then you can see all the files.

(If you can not, just hit the alt key, go to tools, folder options, view and turn on show hidden files and folders.

There is also a tool called modio which can grab profile data from a usb device, but I think thats all it will open.

I took my xbox HDD apart, hooked it to the computer (sata of course) and xplorer360 detected it. I then transferred the Borderland DLC rip to the proper folders and it works. yeah!

Good stuff, but in order for the dlc to work on your console, you need a license.

Therefore your console needs to have a license on it from the M$ server. (When you download the item, Microsoft will license your console to run it)
Or
You need to be logged into a profile that has purchased the item.

Does the DLC work?

sorry for the delayed response but yes the DLC does work and I'm still online.
I think the reason it works is because the DLC was ripped from a game disc that included the DLC on it.
