Jungle Flasher froze pc when erasing Liteon Drive

Ok so i was just about to upgrade my Firmware on my liteon 74850C and when i clicked Lite-On Erase and powered the drive off and on in jungle flasher my pc froze.

So now the drive will not eject atall and i have 1 red light (E64)

Problem is now everytime i turn my xbox drive on in windows it freezes (it was fine before the Erase liteon Freeze) so i can,t do the process again .

Anyone know why its constantly freezing up my pc now and if theres a fix im using SATA Viva Raid Controller - 3149.

Or is the drive bricked and usless now.

have a read and watch this make sure to read it
lite-on locked up
and dont trash any files
with some reading and a little time you should be able to save your drive

Its weird it seems like the drive is stuck in mode B (the green light in the middle of the power button is flashing) and the drive keeps ejecting itself when i turn it on and off.

I have no idea whats up with it

The flash didnt work. Try it again, do an erase then write the firmware again.

It wasn,t the flash i got a new dvd drive today and tryed it again with the same results.

I also tryed new xbox 360 sata and dvd cables inside the 360 and it was still a no go so it was something up with the xbox.

So i went out and got myself a new 360 today lol

well if you did a recover on the drive it should work
sadalius work around is a driver thing but it could have helped also
you must have flash in bad or the wrong firmware

I still have the console and im still trying to get it working

I got the new console really cheap plus it never herts to have a spare lol.

I had a liteon freeze up on me today, and I was able to recover it with Jungleflasher.
I figured I should post up the info since this problem is really common. I had all of the drivers uninstalled and it still happened to me.

If you can power your drive on without your PC freezing up, then this should work for you. If your PC does freeze up then you need to check out Cofrees video tutorial on recovering it in DOS.

So anyway it's pretty basic...
You hook up your drive, power it on.
Open Jungleflasher.
Go to firmware tool 32 tab
Load your dummy into your Source firmware
Let Jungleflasher autoload iXtreme into your target firmware
Go to the MTK Flash 32 tab.
Select your I/O port. It won't detect your drive.
Click Intro/Device ID it will detect a flash chip
Follow the prompt to power your drive off and on
Then in drive properties it should read "Drive in vendor mode"
Click Write
and that's it.

If it doesn't work the first time, I'd suggest you connect everything up, and restart your computer with the drive powered on, and go through the same steps

Thanks again for trying to help i did what u said and its still flashing green.

Found out now that i got a new 360 its not the drive but the console i have no idea whats wrong with it but i have tryed 2 different drives and they all blink green and eject for no reason.

I have also tryed my old flashed drive that i messed up in the first place in my new xbox and it works fine (no blinking green light) so i think im gonna spoof this flashed drive to my new console.

There both liteon 7 series drives.
