strange update problem..

Just got a xbox with a lite on 8 series drive, hooked it up to jungle flasher, it showed up that its been flashed with the new lite on firmware, i plugged it into my tv and it come up with the update cant finish with status code, so i flashed it back to original 8 series firmware then tried taking the update again through my usb stick, it said updating then back to the status code, this never happens, it normally finishes off the update no problems, anyone know how to sort this?

try to take the update on a different HD
even try with out the HD if it has room on the on-board memory

clear the cache and try again
burn it to a cd and try that
just do the normal stuff

the only time i had one fail we tried to update with the HD off and there was not enough room

I forgot to attatch the HD. FAIL!

turned out it wasnt the HD not being attached, i didnt have the latest dash on my usb stick :')
