Tray open or closed

Ha guys one question b4 i start. i have all my keys and everything i need to update to 2.0
my question is.
Do i need to have my tray half open or do i just connect the drive with the CK3 and just leave the tray?

i flash with the try half closed on all sam,benq and loiteon drives
