Iprep and new LT2.0 FW for Benq
Iprep and new LT2.0 FW for Benq
Is there support or a ixdef file for it? I've been out of the xbox hacking scene for at least 8 months so i have to catch up with all the info. Also should i hold off on flashing the FW with the new nov. 25th update coming around the corner? Ty in Advance

aww man that sucks yeah i'm with ya cofree i love iprep because it was soo easy to use but i guess i gotta change with the times lol. btw do u have a video tutorial about jungle flash? I never really used it. the other question is should i just flash my xbox right away or should i just wait until nov. 25th
Re: Iprep and new LT2.0 FW for Benq
I can't get jungle flasher to read my benq drive =[. In the BIOS it says its connected but in jungle flasher i keep getting no driver detected. Been at trying all sorts of methods to try to get it to read but no go lol. Advice would be greatly appreciated ty in advance. I'm running windows XP 32bit, no ck3, and i flashed benq in the past successfully using iprep. Sigh -___- i miss you iprep lol.

I was having the same issue and finally opened the tray a few inches. This made it detectable, maybe this will work for you too.

Re: Iprep and new LT2.0 FW for Benq
trying that but it's not working. Did you just turn on the power then eject then turn off the power while holding the drive out so it doesn't close?
Re: Iprep and new LT2.0 FW for Benq
it is almost impossible to flash a benq or liteon with the console for power
that will just break something
you have to eject the drive
then unpolug the white power cable from the drive
close the try half way
then plug the white power cable back in
you should pick up a ck3 lite just for running power

you can still use IPrep. You just have to load the firmware on the thumndrive yourself. I use it all the time.

You dont need an updated ixdef you can just treat it as a restore as far as I recall. Not a big iprep user but thats the way I remember it.
Hell, I guess you could just make the FW yourself with JF create your USB stick with an old FW that will work with iprep, then go into the usb, and swap the files.
Wait for biogirl to reply see what she says since she actually uses it, I'm just talking out of my ass from what I remember about iprep

That is exactly how I do it. You just want to bypass all the stuff about reading the drive in DOS and move ahead to the flashing part of it.
