sweet bike my dad has a 2002 model he got a tune up kit after 1000 miles exhaust comes out both sides now

This is exactly the same bike as mine (without the Cobra Commander insignia on the flyscreen) and though I have about 10,000 mile LESS on mine, I've never had an issue with it.
Actually, scratch that...I just had to replace the battery on my Buell because I hadnt run it for almost a year and it wasnt on a battery tender. Not sure what the "speed sensor going bad" is all about either, but I wonder if it might have something to do with the way he re-wired the front to keep the lights on? Not sure if he might have something crossed by accident or not.
All in all, great bike to mess around with and very fun to ride...but if you're on the fence about buying it, you already know all of that...Good luck
