Need more usb ports

My wife had to have Rockband last night. You need three usb ports.
Do you think a 4 port usb hub would work?

I don't own 1 so I'm not 100% sure but I thought the ps3 had 6 ports & doesn't rockband come with expansion kit or something??

My ps3 is a 40 gib and it only came with two usb ports. Rockband did not have anything inside of box to hook up more.
Got to have three now and 4 later. You can play 4 at a time.

my rock band for the 360 came with a powered 4 port usb hub

i think most any powered 4 port hub would work with a ps3 system

I'm in the same boat as CoFree. My 360 version of rock band came with a powered USB hub. I've used powered USB hubs with the 360 before so the one that came with rock band isn't proprietary, so I am going to agree with CoFree and say that just about any powered USB hub should work find for you.

I sent ea. a letter and ask for one, and if they did not have the money I would pay for it myself. I`m have not seen anything form them yet. Thanks
