Help fixing a bricked benq drive
Well im new here and im trying to flash my benq drive. I think I bricked it because I tryed to use it on my 360 again and notice it wont open and the status for iprep wont change so I think its bricked. Does anyone know how to fix this? I Know im new and ill try to be as much active as I can.

well man
we need a little more info.
did you get a good dump of your firmware.by that i mean do you have the key for you dvd drive.
will it play dvd movies
will it play orig 360 games
if it wont then the first thing you need to do is this restore.this will only work if you have a good orig firmware with a good key.

No it wont play games or dvds it wont open and i didnt get the original firmware because I didnt know how and the firmware I got was from xbins

hi do reply with more info on your post it will help a lot of people who probably bricked the drive. i am just curious on how a person can brick a drive and how did this happen.

have you connected the drive properly using sata and the power cable which powers the drive, check the connections again

Hi there, I have the exact same problem with my benq drive. I haven't got my orig firmware and I haven't got the key. Can someone help me please.

no sorry.
if you dont have your orig key that was in your firmware then its over sorry.
i would dump the dvd drive and hope there is a key in it.

did you try flashing it, did you get to the part where it says read and did you get the two files and did you flash it. we need more detail on what you did so we can help you better,StonedBanshee wrote:Hi there, I have the exact same problem with my benq drive.
