benq problems HELP...

hi nice site,

i have been asking around on most of the forums but not really getting anywhere i have been watching cofree's vid tut on the benq drive looks easy lol well i have been trying for like ages to do this (i may add i can do sammys n hit's) but benq's NO...
i have the VIA VT6421A card but do you think i can flash the drive i cant even read it i get the 0x51 0xd1 toggling then 0x73
i always get an error reading banks i get an error ( general failure writing drive C ) please help me im starting to go a bit crazy with this one

the only time i have see a benq drive flash the D1 and not dump it was the usb flash.
so
try that get a different usb flash and start over with iprep.you can try a floppy if you computer has one

i dont have a floppy drive i have tried ntfs4 dos still dont work ill try a new usb flash drive thanks for the quick reply i know there like a million usb flash drives but any links for one that actually works or i could end up with like loads of them if next one dont work lol

i use a kingston 1GB flash drive

ok thank you i have just ordered a kingston flash drive least that way i know they work with the flashing thanks i will post back when it turns up let you know the out come

hi have the new flash drive and the benq dumped perfect no problems at all... well other then my pc i am tryin to run firmtool toolbox v4.5 but i am gettin an run time error 339 im missing a MSINET.ocx file can i continue flashin without running toolbox cos im at a loss with the error :roll: if i copy my orig fw will that be ok ?

are you using vista??
if so - right click fw toolbox & "run as administrator" ;)

do not proceed to flashing until you have confirmed the dump is valid by checking the key
