Thanks, I have updated my BenQ drive and everything is working fine.
But for the LiteOn drives: Do you actually need a CK3 or a Xtracter tool to get the key? And for flashing, do you need one too?
Is a VIA sata card recommend or will my ICH9R from intell also work? And if you use the method to flash in dos, do you also need the portio32 drivers for the VIA card?

And if you have these 3 files:

key.bin
inquiry.bin
identify.bin

Can you flash back the ORIGINAL firmware to the Lite-On?
So what I mean: Are you safe if you have these 3 files (valid)? At that moment, you can't brick your drive anymore (even if JungleFlasher will freeze in windows while erasing the LiteOn drive?)?
Please, thanks.

you can try

if you have those 3 file then you can get your drive working in dosflash.
even if it wont eject

Alright. Do you maybe know when you are able to go back tot the original with those 3 files?
So I should definitly backup those 3 files on a safe place?
And if you have those 3 files, you are always able to flash your drive to the iXtreme firmware?

We don't know when or if there will be a restore for the lite-on's, I imagine there will be, but we don't know for sure. But yes, you should keep those files. Treat them as if that is your only copy of your firmware. And as long as you have those 3 files and the proper software and hardware, you should be able to flash your drive.

I wanted to uninstall the VIA drivers, but i can't. I already did it in the control panel. But it's still recognized. It also asks for a VIA RAID driver Diskette. I couldn't find the viamraid.sys or vmraid.sys file in de system32 folder.
How do i fully remove the VIA drivers?
Is it necessary?
Also if you flash and erase in dos?

if you want to try the portio driver you have to get the via driver out completely.
or you can do it like this video.

But how to uninstall it?
And if you do it like the video (flash and erase in dos). Do you have to uninstall de VIA and install the PORTIO drivers too? Or if you do it in dos, you don't need to uninstall the VIA and install the PORTIO drivers?

If you do it in dos, you still need to install the portio32 drivers, but you won't need to uninstall the VIA drivers.

Alright, thanks!
Also another question: I have a CK3 lite now. But i don't know if my serial port is working okay.
How do I test it? Should there be a sound or something if I turn the CK3 lite on? Or how can i know it's working (without a xbox 360 dvd drive)?

I hooked my BenQ drive to the ck3, but i can't get my key. Not with the Xtractor reader and not with ck3 tool. Both say bad key (00000.. ). There is no tutorial how to get the benQ key in windows.
I just click on get key(with the right port and com port selected).

Does this mean the com port doesn't work? This is how my device manager looks like:

Can you help me?

I usually flash my drive (benQ) also with iPrep, but I wanted to test my CK3 lite and my Serial port. And I thought, maybe because i can't read the benq key, my serial port is broken?

Can you get the key from a BenQ drive with your CK3 pro? How do you do it?
And do you get a message (sound or something) when you turn the power on/off of the CK3 pro in windows? Or something that you know it is on/off?
And wil ANY USB to Serial adapter work (for CK3 lite)? Or does it have to be a special type or something?
