Ok so i follow instructions to the T but i am unable to get out of Status : 0x7F

I made sure xbox was off... hit y at resend.. turn on xbox... 10 sec.. then off...10 sec than back on

Status never changes from 0x7F... i was expecting it to switch to 0x51 and 0xD1 when i powered on xbox but status still remained the same. Time to order the via chip ?

Depends on what shipping method you chose. Standard shipping is by first class postal mail and could take up to a week or maybe a little longer. UPS Ground shipping generally takes 3-5 days and so on down the list.

Ok stupid me. After looking at my motherboard i have two sets of sata ports.. one for the silicon image and one for the Nforce chipset. i was plugging into the silicon image set :x so i then plugged into the correct ports and i was able to get a dump with a Green Success! Woooo

So i took the dump (CFW and OFW) put them in firmtool and the keys match and its not a lot of the same number or letter. Should i proceed with the flashing ?

on a side note.. after booting into iprep, when i hit y at the resend part.... i turned on the xbox and within 4 seconds it read all 4 banks and gave me the success message.. i didnt even have to do that ten second deal. I want to proceed with flashing but i wanted to verify with u guys first. Thx

it looks good to me
as long as you checked the dump for a good key it should be good.

if by chance you are flash a v25 for the first time you dont have to do the 10 sec trick.
from now on you will.
if you are flashing a v28 and did not have to do the 10sec trick that is weird

so now that i checked my dump.. once i boot into iprep am i going to have to start from scratch and re-read my drive? or will it go straight into firmtool ?

after it dumped firmtool should have run and built your hacked firmware.
watch the video

you should just start at the flash part
