Thanks Coffree, I understand now it will deffo need updating to 3.41 before any network is plugged in, Then do I change those DNS settings before I plug in the net too ? Then the rest should be pretty straight forward. Im gonna have to bookmark this page so can refer to those DNS settings you mention at xmas time.

cofree,apparently final fantasy XIII is 40gb!!!!
i have 2 ps3's and am keeping 1 for online and 1 for offline.its hacked already using a G1 or htc dream.its so easy and amazing at the same time.i had 3.10 fw on ps3 so updated to 3.41.
i still have file on desktop,you can have it cofree via my ftp or send it via mirc if we meet there
