Backup Original Xbox Games ?

So, is it safe at all to play an original Xbox game backup?--wouldn't some "content" be saved to the HD during game play--even if disconnected from the net? By disconnecting the LAN cable and detaching the HD, would that be safe enough to play an original backup without any trace of an iffy data being logged that could be picked up by MS?

Plus you can't play Xbox 1 games on 360 without the HDD any way.

I'm with cofree on this one. I have a banned Hitachi that I think was caused from my kids playing xbox1 games on it. And they weren't even backups!

What kind of firmware is need to play xbox backups on the 360?

dont know what drive you have.

yea i still haven't played any on my 360 lol.

if u have a sammy u can play single layer burnt xbox games i think, then if u have a benq or hit they have to be burned on dl disc i think.

as far as i know.
if you are running a ixtreme firmware for any drive sam,hit or benq you have to burn a xbox iso on a DL disc.

back in the old days with the (old) xtreme firmware you could burn to a dvd and it would play.

Yeah if you have a Samsung running Xtreme 5.x firmware you can use single layer Xbox 1 backups as long as the game is ripped with XBC and it is on the backwards compatibility list. With any iXtreme it has to be dual layer for any model DVD-ROM drive.

or is it only for sl box games and old non stealth or whatever 360 games ?

the older firmware will play the stealth game,but not the other way around.
the ixtreme firmware will only play stealth game.
