you can spoof a lite 0n any firmware to any firmware they are the same hardware.if you get a repaired drive from M$ they upgrade the firmware and put a new sticker over the old sticker.so if you have a 7xxx you can make it a 9xxx if you want. its not recomments to flash a benq spoofed as a lite on because c4e says M$ can tell if a drive is spoffed now. but as long as you use the same drive hardware your golden

Woow i didn't no that good bit of information kinz :) what about if your drive was a 9xxx but you have a 7xxx drive and your 9xxx is broken, just flash in the 9xxx firmware in the 7xxx drive..., do you guess we should be Ok there ? same principle as what m$ do just update it but you don't have an offical sticker.

yeah you can flash any lite on firmware on any lite on drive. they firmware is what sect the security but all the same hardware so MS cant tell as long as you use the same fm that came off the stock drive
