This is the reason for your problem...
GTA works better off a harddrive (it's obviously using some form of cache/swap file) .. I played it off a memory card & had the same problem! After using my HD the problem is still present but drasticly reduced.

I have been playing my GTA IV with no problems. But when I got to this part, I get this.

The CD is new and clean. I get this on GRID also in one of the stages.

you could have just started a new thread for this. ;)

what kind of disc and/or what speed did you burn at.what speed did you flash at also.
there have been a few times i have seen that but i restart or whip of the disc and it play fine after that.
