Hey dude I found someone online that would pull the key and give me a new hitachi drive for $60. So I had him do it. Thanks for all your help in this. Seems like even though I was having all those issues the key was still able to be pulled. I'll ask him what he used once I get the key.

alright so i was able to get my key and OFW. I am very happy now. .I am on LT 2.0 for my Hitachi. It is now a 78 (old one was a 47dj). Thanks for everyone who helped me out. Greatly appreciate it.
-so just to recap. With the new drive I am able to extract my own key and JF recognizes my drive. I was able to put it into mode B from JF which is super convenient. I don't even have to edit the viaXXXX.sys file. I just simply plug in the sata to my VIA card. Turn on the XBOX, turn on the PC and boom!
