I can confirm that it does not work under Vista. Like MsK said, jungleflasher or DOS would be the way to go here.

I just switched to my XP drive and got it done that way
but for future uses I will probably use the DOS method.

1. shift+right-click in your firmtool directory with your orig.bin and your drives hacked fw renamed to hacked.bin in there

2. choose command prompt

3. type firmtool orig.bin hacked.bin

4. if says success in green, then flash the hacked.bin with whatever prog you like


i already made mine but won't be using it since it's 12x and i don't go online.
