Dump it 3 or 4 times and check the key each time and make sure it`s the same everytime , and you should be good to go.

put the floppy in and
start>my computer>"a" right click and quick format
after that try to build your iprep boot disc.

what you need to see man
is that it is a random key a lot of different numbers and letters.
and
that it will dump the same key every time.

ok i just tested out the firmware on the floppy and everthing is cool i just have to question to anyone who wants to answer,
when it ask for my xbox serial number do i type in the real number or just 1234567 12345? and if with my real number do i add the spaces?
and second question is for some reason when i type in the Dos mode for the flash on start up it types in 3 if that makes sense? ok like i type in xbox , when i press x it comes out like xxx i cant just type one letter and i cant delete the extra letters because it deletes in 3 to t try to delete two of the x and it just deletes all three how can i fix this and whats the problem? (p.s. when i wrote the firmware i just wrote the lite-on i did not load all three (benq, sammy, and lite) just lite could this be it?) thx.

most people use there ser number from the back of there console.
it makes it easier to keep up with down the road.
i just use 1234567 12345 because i have all of the info on my computer already.
there is space after the first 7 numbers

no idea man
with the new iprep v008.8 you only have to input the one firmware you are going to use.
