yea, you can leave them bridged although you didn't have to bridge the 708 points, only the 707. also did you flash it yet? and if so, how'd you flash it without the CK3?
hi thanks for the reply
no not flashed it yet.. I do have the ck3... just not here at work, its at home...so when i get in at 5 i can do it after my friend soldered the points for me

It's most likely the port. Have you ever flashed this drive before? If not I would just verify that you are using the right port. Are you using JF or iPrep?

could be the com port or the 707 points may not be bridge correctly. . . i've got that error before, and it was for both reasons. once i wasn't using the right com port and all the other times i just wasn't bridging completely. . .

Boot to windows and load iPerp again to make sure that you're hooked up to the right port. I know my pc list 3 or 4 ports, and I end up usually writing the port number and the port address down. If nothing else you could try using JF.

lol! na, you just probably missing one step, once you figure it out it'll sail smoothly. . . if the bridge is correct then it's the com port. did you verify the port?

I prefer JF, just because it actually shows you what you're connected to and allows you a full gui interface which for most of us windows babies that's exactly what we need.
