please help, lost drive

if you can get your hands on another computer that has molex power what i did originally before i found a power source for my ck3 was use another computer with molex power to power the ck3. space was a bit tight because i had the ck3 plugged up to the other computer as well as to the drive and the computer i was using to flash the drive but it worked fine. now im using the guts from an old hard drive enclosure, it has the molex power adapter and i just plug it up that way. . .

Yeah i found the only way to stop my pc resetting everytime i powered on the ck3 when attached to my pc's molex was by using a spare atx supply i had lying around and bridging the green and adjacent black wire to enable it to turn on and it's been spot-on since.

ok im gona phone my mate and ask him to lend me his pc lol,
probleys tell me where to go,
im going to plug sata cable in the lite on drive then into the sata port on my pc,
hook usb to my pc and ck3
plug green cable into lite on and ck3
then molex out of mates computer in ck3
then turn on both pc,s and use his to power it and mine to do the flashing on,
lol
is this safe,nothing gona blow up

Nope that'll work, as iamwatt said though you might find it a tight squeeze if the psu is left in the other tower though.

ok got me mates computer but only for a few hours
im all set up, boot into dos flash,
type l-o-eras.exe
it says command base:register or ata command blockin hex eg i00r

try to write it says
unknown flash chip

press e to erase in dosflash it says unknown flash chip,

any ideas any1

forgot when powering the drive on and off i can only get a status of 52 also

did you just type l-o-eras.exe or did you put the port number of the drive as well?

also, did you prepare the flash drive in order to do the lite on recovery method?

would like to say what a great site this is,
found help where i thought i couldnt,
it was my mistake i wasnt typing the port number after l-o-eras.exe

my 1st disk failed to load but im pretty sure that was my poor attemp at trying to burn the game,
im off to the the game burning tutorial now
