So guys as you are aware many thanks to yourselves, I have just done mine last week, I already have the OFW saved in numerous places, Do I just do the same as before but instead of reading and backing up the CFW on there now I will just need to go ahead and flash with 1.6, is this right yeah ? or do I need to to log back into windows and save the backup CFW, and then flash it ?

Thanks !

this time make a copy of the backup folder (many) and at least one copy of your computer.

I did boot back into windows and sent OFW.bin file to a few emails and saved aswell, I never saved the whole backup folder just the OFW.bin file, So I still have this and wont loose it, so I just need to flash again then right ?

Will iprep 8.8 support this new temporary iextreme 1.51 or do we need to wait for a new iprep to do it, or is it better to just wait for 1.6, its probs a good idea to wait if theres only a very few games with this 3rd wave thingy majig !

Success! I have updated my firmware to 1.51…thanks for all the help.

But I’m very upset though…at the guy who previously modded my 360. He forgot the 6 torx screws to hold the 360 together plus he modded my system w/ 1.41 (he said 1.5). What a rip off. The only reason I found out it was moddd w/ 1.41 is because was checking my key w/ toolbox 4.8. If you are thinking about having someone modding your system make sure It’s someone you trust.

you will need to up date the def file in iprep so it will load the new 1.51 firmware.
