Re: OMG ABGX360 is amazing !
thank you so much I was flapping around like an headless chicken - firewall is allowing me to connect as the software connected to do every thing else it was just that bit about the verification - all happy now (thank you)
Re: OMG ABGX360 is amazing !
I'm also still checking my ISOs the old fashion way (Kreon Checker, Schtrom, Xbox Backup Creator & Mulleter). I hear good things about ABGX360 and I figure I should change with the times and use this single program instead of the 4 I'm currently using. However, I'm just not too sure about the online database issue. If the game you are backing up does not exist on the online database, does that mean that you won't get a confirmation if your ISO is good? If that's the case, how can you be sure you have a good Stealth rip? The 4 older programs don't use any database, they check the ISO itself and determine if it's a good rip or not...isn't that just as safe/good?Backslash wrote:if its for every game make sure your firewall is allowing it to connect to the internet, if it's one game then its prolly not in the database yet, thats all.
Thanks

Re: OMG ABGX360 is amazing !
i still do it the same
but
check with abgx360 not with mulliter
one more thing if you are doing a dump from a in hand orig disc dont let abgx360 change your iso in any way
you know its a real dump.

Re: OMG ABGX360 is amazing !
Thanks for the answer CoFree. I only do dumps from my original discs; what does ABGX360 (or Mulleter) do with dumps that are made from our own originals?

Re: OMG ABGX360 is amazing !
it just compares the info with the data base
but it will make changes to your iso if there are different.
that fine if you are not sure of your iso.
but
when you know its from a in hand orig dump
i dont care what is in there data base
I know my iso is right.
but its just a safety thing to let it check just to make sure.
