As long as the card is still showing a yellow exclamation mark you're good to go but if its showing as the Via with no problems then you will have to repeat the process. Yu can also go into your bios and disable the raid.

This may be a daft question but which version of card have you got? Is it the Via 6421?

ive just did a serch for raid
would this cause a problem..
i aint sure what sort of via card i have..just found out what i have its a via raid controller 3249

i just run jungleflasher and it was ok it found the xbox lite-on drive now when i pressed the eject then turned the drive off and closed the drive half way then turned the drive back on jungleflasher cant detect the drive.. i just closed jungleflasher closed the dvd tray run jungleflasher and it finds the drive.. what am i doing wrong

that seems to be working now but when i put the spear in the r707 hole i get no lights on the spear..its ok all done flashed drive and working perfectly...
just one problem on my pc the raid controller everytime i boot windows it keeps asking me to install the drivers.. what do i do
