Once I get my hands on 1.6, I'll make a def file that you can download here and use. You'll be able to be up and running quicker that way.

1.51 will not play non-stealth games. 1.6 will be no different. It should have no problem with older wave1 or 2 or the new wave 3 games.

I remember Klutsh said he was working on a new iPrep just for the release of 1.6 so he may have something included in his release to include the 1.6 cfw.

I remember the same thing. I will be making a 1.6 ixdef file though just for the interim, then we will see what the master of iprep has in store for us

He was talking of adding hitachi support but I think putting the drives in Mode B in DOS was proving to be a little more than difficult. Also key checks by power cycling the drive. This way you would know your key is good with out having to enter windows to make sure the key is good before flashing the drive.

a fair bit of work then. so the lite-on drives thats been flashed with 1.51 they should be able to be flashed with just sata cable now and no need to have serial cable if using IPREP is that right?

I know you can with jungleflasher if they've been flashed with ixtreme before. I'm not sure about iprep.
