Re: 360 Modification Disc v1.6

Right...I d/l that last night and I'll use that if I have to flash again. But a few days ago (when I started the flashing), version 1.6 (of 360 Modification Disk) was not available...only 1.53 (1.53 is only the 360 Modification Disk application version, it still flashes the drive(s) with iXtreme version 1.51). Funny thing is that (to make a very long story short), iPrep would not properly recognize either my VIA VT... PCI card, or my BenQ drive, or the CK3 Lite. It would show the drive after repeatedly pressing "No" in the prompts, and once I selected the device number it would ask me what I wanted to do (R, W, E, etc). Then, it would never ask me to eject the drive, power cycle, etc...so I did that on my own each time before entering my selection. Once iPrep started reading, or writing, it would hang at the first prompt...never go through to bank 1. It was however 360ModDisk that DID properly see the drive and activate it (after doing the power down for 5 seconds part). It never asks you to eject the tray and push it back in, it only asks you to power down for 5 seconds, then power back on. After that, it would always dump the drive just fine. So, after using 360ModDisk, as long as I didn't power down the CK3 Lite, if I booted back up into iPrep, this time it would see the BenQ properly and did the dump/flash fine. So it had to be the 360ModDisk application that somehow managed to communicate properly through the CK3 LIte to the BenQ drive to get the computer to properly see it.
