Are you going to do any more drives?

I have one to do tomorrow probably and I'd be interested to hear if you get on better with the earlier version and I will use that too.

I had those same errors with jungleflasher when I ran my VIA card with the drivers enabled. I disabled them and it's worked great ever since for me.

I was going to give that a try also but was thinking it was just for liteons.

I'll try it out tomorrow, see how it goes.

you need to remember that the benq and the lite-on
are made by the same people

I dont think you should jungle with any drive with the via drivers running.

Ok, so I successfully flashed another Benq,

same procedure as before,

apart from I tried disabling the VIA Drivers and my PC was freezing everytime the xbox drive powered on,

so I re-enabled the drivers got the "write verify failed" error, continued on my merry way, pressed outro/reset, set it all up, inserted backup and it boots fine.

I'm not sure if this is an issue with my setup or a JF bug but either way I just want to confirm both worked even though it gave the verification error.

Seems strange, and I would encourage anyone with the same or similar issue to seek advice on what to do from one of the experienced guys here, rather than just doing as I have done, I may have just got lucky. If iPrep is an option for you then by all means try that if it makes you feel safer.
