its been trying for about 15 min now LOL...man i just wanna get this drive flashed and test it out already...i got so far....

If you have an IRC client, join the channel #xbins and then type !list and you will get a message from the channel, you dont need to read it...

Now go to your FTP software, and connect to distribution.xbins.org and login with your irc username and password: emulation

Or keep trying auto xbins. I dont think we can host the FW due to copyrights...

Here's the pic tut...

Go to flashfxp.com and version 3.6 it will be a 30 day trial. Feel free to download another FTP program, whatever you want... (I use flashfxp)

Click the chat room link on the home page login with whatever username:


Once connected to the chatroom, feel free to say hello, then type /join #xbins and press enter:


You should now see this, now type "!list":


You should now have a message from xbins: (give it a few seconds)



If your going to use flash FXP, open it, it will probably say some stuff about the trial, click continue... Then press F8 on your keyboard, and connect to distribution.xbins.org with your user and pass...

He had the drive lockup in jf
But i ran him through getting it unlocked using the jf method

Actually it was usefull as i didnt no how to get stuff from xbins that way

Thats what I usually do when auto xbins decides to tell me I'm banned or whatever. I usually use mIRC, but I figure its simpler to show how to do it with the chat room.

I should have done this days ago, dj you are the man thanks for all the help and haggard your tut did help me with finding another firmware i needed. YOU GUYS RULE!!!!!
