Yes. I updated early this morning. I had to update both my boxes instead of just the one. Seems the one that I had x-clamped decided to choke on the update (RROD). But I will work in it when I get time. The other one is working fine. Not banned or anything yet.

Unfortunatley I have been banned. It happened that week and now my live is gone to crap. System has been modded for more than a year. Been playing online more than a year. Did change xbox's due to getting a new one. Had this new xbox about 6 months and got banned a few weeks ago. I have a BenQ 1.4 Firmware and I have stealth chaecked all my games since I got banned and ALL passed creon checker and mulleter stealth checks. I dont know what did it. All I know is I have to get my brothers Xbox now since he doesnt play Live. I am going to swap Consoles. *Sigh* Thats life.

Hey Guys not banned yet. I was worried because i played a download of Fracture and it was a pre-release one. So i was kind of scared. I will update if anything happens. Hitachi can't remember the version with Ixtreme v1.4. Hope all goes good for everyone that didn't get banned.

I was banned when everyone else was. I just went out of town and this is me getting on to check the results.

I have an original Hitachi 47 i think. I flashed it a long time ago and havent changed the firmware although I dont think new FW has been released.

I have downloaded and played scene releases. Early and late.

I have also made copies of scene releases for my friends and they all have BenQ and one has Samsung 28. None of them are banned. We dont all play the exact same games but one friend for sure has played every game I have played on a BenQ with ix1.4 and has not been banned.

I am not saying that it isnt the game, but I feel like that isnt the only requirment. I also have a console that has been repaired and come back as LiteOn. Are we still waiting on 1.5 to be able to do anything with that?

Hope this helps someone or helps narrow down the problem.

well if its
he has played the same copy of the same game
then yea that would be something.It is odd that thing like what you say happen though.

i have done a dump of a lite-on and could spoof in a different dvd drive i just have no reason to mess with it at this point.

I went through the list in my head and I am pretty sure we have played every game. edit: WE PLAY ALL THE EXACT SAME GAMES. I cant think of a single game I played that he didnt.

I have a liteon drive so I am going to try to wait for 1.5 if it doesnt ever come I may have to spoof. Do I actually need another drive key to spoof? Or can I do it just with the LiteOn?

well just to point it out.
that is wrong,bad and very well may get you in trouble.

that being said.
to spoof a dvd drive you have to have the key that was in your orig dvd drive for the console.
it dont mater what dvd drive your console has you would have to take the key from it and put it in the firmware of the new/different dvd drive that you want to put in the console.
other wise you will get a error that the firmware does not match.

Ah. So i need a second dvd drive. I actually have a BenQ that I dont have the key to. so it is useless. I dont think I am following completely.

no.. the drive key can be changed - the drive key must match the console key to work

so - basicly what you need to do is extract the key from the lite-on drive & inject it into the BenQ & apply a little spoof to fake Benq as a Lite-On.. then it will work

Okay. The question is will the LiteOn still work after that once the 1.5FW does come out.

nobody has the answer to that until it is released.. except obviously the people that are working on 1.5 // c4e

What I will say is > to extract the key you are only joining 2 points on the board - this does not make the drive redundant

I guess I should have clarified. If i use the LiteOn key on a BenQ. Can I still use the LiteOn xbox even though the drive key is in another console?
