I'm sure that using the dosflash commands manually would end with the same results. After, iprep is just scripted around dosflash. I know it got the original dump, but does dumping work consistently, or does dumping now have the same status code problem as attempting to flash?

depends. if i leave my xbox off until mtkflash, i get the 0x7f status. if i turn my xbox on when i turn my computer on, then turn it off when it says it needs to be off, type y, then turn it on, it dumps... but it just hangs after it gets done dumping.

Dude. Thats messed up...... Have you tried totally uninstalling the card and re-installing it? Probably won't make a difference at all, but you never know.

ok, well i uninstalled the drivers, rebooted. installed the drivers again, rebooted. created iprep usb, boot up and it gives me that disk problem, trying to read from my floppy. i format and create bootable drive with the HP utility then use iPrep again. booted fine into iprep. dump went fine, but its still hanging after the dump.

If nothing else, try it the old flashioned way with the dosflash commands, like you did the first time around. If you haven't already tried it that way that is.

you should be able to. Thats what I was talking about when I said try it the old fashioned way

You would have to rename your benq-ofw.bin to orig.bin though.
