this is the same port/card/pc that i used to flash a benq, so i know the pc is ok.. just these things always seem to cause me problems!
well you don't need to use a com port for benq drives. . . so it's a new thing for you when it comes to the lite-on drive

its hung now
do i have to delete a .sys file from the /system32 directory to make JF work ok?

technoe might just be right, i've never used jungle flasher so i wouldn't know but i swear by iPrep. that joint works like a charm. . . if i could see your set up i could help better.
i dont even solder either, i just bridge the 707 points with a screw driver

i figured that was going to happen, i aint get to reach you quick enough, from what i've read on other threads, jungle flasher stalls at times with the via card

i cant use iprep as it says dvd key invalid

na you can use it, theres just something you have to remove and add for it to run smoothly. . . let me check a thread ima bout to tell you. . .

well from what im reading you have install the portio32 drivers. . . i have no idea what that means. . . might have to wait for CoFree or Sadalius. . .

no problem, i say still try it with iPrep because you're so close, once the 707 points are bridged you should be good to go. . . check the com port again and did you do the steps where you open the drive tray, power down, push the drive tray in about half way or as cofree does a little more than half way and then power it back on. . . ?
